The Ubuntu Immersion · where the diaspora meets the motherland

Twelve days. Two cities. One hosted route.

Every day is hosted. There are no add-ons and no upsell paths. The trip is the trip.

12 days · Two cities · 2 internal flights · Hosted accommodation throughout

You are never on an unscheduled independent transfer.

  1. 01Johannesburg

The first half of the journey is Johannesburg and Soweto — the founding of the city, Constitution Hill, Vilakazi Street, and the Apartheid Museum.

    01

    Johannesburg

    Arrival

One of your two CSTA hosts meets you at Atlanta and flies with you. At OR Tambo the second host joins you at the aircraft door with your printed itinerary. You do not clear the terminal alone, and from here both hosts are with the group.

Hosted accommodation · All transfers included · Meals per the daily programme

  2. 02

    Johannesburg

eGoli — the city of gold

The founding of the city, on foot and by vehicle, with the hosts. How gold built Johannesburg and what it cost.

    Final Johannesburg day

A last day in the city before the Cape. The morning is spent at Maboneng and Melrose Arch — street art, independent galleries, and time to shop or sit. The afternoon is unhurried and hosted. A farewell dinner to Johannesburg closes the evening, with bags collected for the early flight south.

    07

    Cape Town

    Arrival, the Mother City

Internal flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town, met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. An orientation evening — the shape of the days ahead, and your first view of Table Mountain over the city.
